While all the holiday parks listed above put you in a great position to enjoy a seaside holiday, here’s the ones which require no extra car journeys or paying for parking to set you up for a beach day:
- Ladram Bay Holiday Park: it has its own private pebble and rock pool beach. Just be aware that there is a slope down to the beach which isn’t ideal for pushchairs or wheelchairs
- Beachside Holiday Park: this park is right on the seafront with gently sloping access to the Blue Flag sandy bay.
- Devon Cliffs: stay here and you are perched on cliffs with a fair number of steps down to Sandy Bay.
- Challaborough Bay Holiday Park: it’s right on the beach with easy access in parts but sections have steps and rockier stretches at high tide.
