Mazes at Devon attractions
Here’s the Devon attractions the include a maze:
- The Milky Way in North Devon has one of the largest mazes in the South West. It covers 3,000 square meters
- Watermouth Castle in North Devon is a family theme park with a maze as one of its many attractions
- Wildwood Escot/Devon Activity Centre in East Devon has a beech maze. This is included in entry to Wildwood Escot and for activity centre users.
- Sooty Land at Crealy in East Devon has a mirror maze. This is included in the attraction’s entry price.
- The Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth has a hedge maze. The sanctuary is free to visit.
- Woodlands Family Theme Park in South Devon has a wooden walled maze. This is included in the attraction’s entry price.
- Pennywell Farm in South Devon has a willow maze. This is included in the attraction’s entry price.

South Devon Maize Maze
Get lost in this year’s JuBEELee themed maze, with family friendly activities to do along the way. There will also be two torchlit maze evenings.
When: opens Friday to Monday from 23 July 2022
Admission charge: adults £6, children £6, under 3’s free

Maize maze at the Surfing Cow
Navigate the maze, PYO sunflowers and have a delicious ice cream, milkshake or sundae at the Surfing Cow at Battisborough Farm near Plymouth.
When: open every day from 12pm to 5pm
Admission charge: free when you buy an ice cream

Maize Maze at The Orange Elephant
Find the maze in the summer meadow across the road from the The Orange Elephant ice cream parlour. The meadow is open daily from 10am to 5pm until the end of August.
When: open now until the end of August 2022
Admission charge: included in play meadow entrance fee

Maize maze in Mid-Devon
Here’s the maze I’ve spotted opening in Mid-Devon this summer:
Orway Porch Farm maize maze
The maze will be open four days a week right through the summer holidays. Come and play maize games, relax in the picnic area and cool off with an ice cream.
When: opens Thursday to Sunday from 28 July, 2022
Admission charge: £6 per person, under 3s free. £22 family ticket

Maize mazes in East Devon
Take you pick from these mazes in Exeter and East Devon:
Maize maze at Darts Farm, Topsham
Admission charge: TBC
Where: Topsham, EX3 0QH
Flower maze at Jolly Farm
Head to Jolly Farm in August for its combined Jolly Flower & Jolly Maze event in 2022. Entry to the farm’s fields includes access to its pick your own sunflowers, its mini maze and the flower meadow.
When: open now from Thursday to Sunday (new dates are released weekly)
Admission charge: £5.50 per person – includes three sunflower stems, entry and parking. Under 3s free.
Where: Silverton, Exeter, Devon, EX5 4DU

Maize Maze at The World of Country Life
Visit this popular East Devon attraction and you’ll find the maize maze included in your entrance ticket.
When: Open daily
Admission charge: included in the attraction’s admission price.

Here’s where to get lost amongst the maize in West Devon:
Strawberry Fields’ Maize Maze at Lifton Farm
Visit Strawberry Fields for its annual maize maze, pick your own strawberries and the wild flower fields. This year’s maze is Chicken Run themed.
When: the maize and PYO are open now
Admission charge: £7.50 per person (under 2s free). There’s a discount available if you book the Strawberry Experience too.
