Easter trails at National Trust places in Devon in 2021

The National Trust has confirmed its Easter egg hunts in Devon. There will be a fun trail with a chocolate treat at the end.

The trails cost £3 per child in addition to the admission charge. Trails and prizes are available will stocks last. Most properties need booking in advance and have different start dates for their trails. Check before you travel!

Here’s the properties where you will find them happening:

  • Arlington Court – 2 to 18 April 2021, 10am to 4pm
  • Buckland Abbey – 29 March to 18 April 2021, 10am to 4pm
  • Castle Drogo – 1 April to 11 April 2021, 10am to 4pm
  • Coleton Fishacre – 29 March to 18 April 2021, 11am to 4pm
  • Greenway – 29 March to 18 April 2021, 11am to 4pm
  • Killerton – 30 March to 11 April 2021, 10am to 4pm
  • Knightshayes – 29 March to 18 April 2021, 10am to 4pm
  • Lydford Gorge – 1 to 18 April (whilst stocks last), 10am to 4.30pm
  • Saltram – 29 March to 18 April, 10am to 3.30pm.

RHS Rosemoor

From 29 March 2021 RHS Rosemoor is hosting an Easter trail and has partnered with Chocolate & Love – an organic and Fairtrade chocolate brand.

On completion of the trail, each family will receive a Chocolate & Love goody bag including activity sheets, some seeds to plant and grow at home as well as a very nice treat! 

Capacity is limited and tickets must be booked in advance.

Tamar Trails Easter trail

Tamar Trails near Tavistock has two trails this year – one is properly adventurous with lookout points, walk ways and very steep steps. The other is gentle, short and better suited to off road buggies and toddlers.

The trails cost £2 per child and run from 2 until 18 April.

Booking online is essential to help manage social distancing and numbers in the car park.

Crealy Adventure Park and Resort

Head to Crealy Adventure Park & Resort between 12 and 18 April 2021 for a Jurassic egg hunt. Solve riddles and find dino egg locations across the park and win yourself a chocolate treat. There’s also lots of outdoor rides and the farm to explore.
